Spring 2007 Class Listings

Summer and Fall Curriculum Classes
Traditional curriculum courses that lead to a degree or transfer credits.  Some classes require appropriate prerequisite courses. Students must fill out and submit an application for admission. If working toward a degree, transcripts must also be submitted. Otherwise, students should select "Special Credit" as their program of study.

Spring Continuing Education Classes

Non-transfer credit classes are often the same or similar to curriculum classes but with more flexible schedules and instructional requirements.  Continuing education classes traditionally are offered to business and industry to meet specific educational requirements.  These classes often do not  require prerequisite courses and traditionally are not transferable.  Many technology classes taken in a continuing education model are transferable. Students do not need to fill out an admissions application.

North Carolina Air National Guard Requested Classes

Classes may be requested by the North Carolina Air National Guard to meet specific training needs.  This list is constantly changing; the college will be glad to work with your needs to create or modify classes to meet your needs.  We will work to employ trainers and instructors from a state or national area for instructional purposes.

We are excited about the North Carolina Guard-specific classes we have offered this year:

A+ CWA IT Essentials
CCNA/Networking
Client Support Administrator
FrontPage Web Design
Microsoft Desktop Support Technician
Microsoft Project Manager

If you have interests in these or any other classes for your North Carolina Air National or Army National Guard unit, please contact Rita D. Walter at (704) 991-0367. Generally, eight to ten students are needed to warrant a requested course.
